As you might have noticed, I changed the default address for this blog to http://www.scriptyweb.com/blog because I think this makes more sense. I’m not sure if all the old links still work so if you have links to this blog please check, or change them.

SLFeed – Second Life Jobs
May 3rd, 2009In the past couple of weeks I’ve been working, aside from other project, on a website for jobs in Second Life. It’a a friend’s website and I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. It’s very simple, it’s fast and I hope is very easy to use. There might be some small changes needed so any feedback will be appreciated. Here it is:

February 20th, 2009Just one
January 30th, 2009“We don’t build websites, we build web applications” is more like “I don’t build websites, I build web applications” cause it’s just me working here. That’s one of the reasons things seem to move a bit too slow.
On that note, I’m looking for a partner, to write the XHTML and CSS parts of the websites. I would like someone to write clean and effective code, that validates and works on all browsers. Personally I use Adobe Fireworks for website layouts design, but if all goes smoothly we can go with Photoshop.
So, anyone interested?
The new Go! is live
December 28th, 2008The new version for our URL shortener service is live.
We’ve changed the design making it simpler, cleaner and, we hope, more beautiful.
We’ve added a Control Panel for registered users to be able to edit or delete a link and to see how many clicks a link had. There’s even a help page so you know how you can use it.
If anybody is interested, we’re going to build an Ajax API for it later on.
We’re back!
October 28th, 2008Details soon …
